I love nature. I love the beach and the grass and the trees but I also have a definite soft spot for stone architecture. Classic stone buildings are my escape from the jungle of metal and glass and plaster that we call cities.
There's something about thick stone walls. They're rough and smooth at the same time and cool to the touch. They create a hush between them that invites me to slow down and appreciate where I am, surrounded by history, drenched in beauty.
